Measures to prevent spread of flu - Due to rising cases of flu this winter – and taking into consideration the impact of other seasonal illnesses – we have reintroduced face masks in our practice.

Changes to Reception Service

From 1st October 2025, changes to the national GP contract requires all practices to provide online triage for administrative and non-urgent medical queries during all opening hours, 8:00am to 6:30pm.

Seasonal Flu Vaccinations

If you are eligible for a seasonal flu vaccination you can now book an appointment at the Practice.

ELHT Laboratory Delays

In recent weeks we have had several incidents of blood samples being rejected by the lab at the hospital marked as being too old to be tested. This is an issue affecting all practices in the area.

Change to services

From the 1st of May 2025 the Practice is no longer commissioned to provide ear syringing or complex wound care.
